Zoo Boo!!!

Happy Hump day!!! One day closer to the weekend!!!! YAY!!!

One of the many things we did in October was to take the boys to Zoo Boo.
Zoo Boo is a Halloween event our local Zoo, Lowry park Zoo, holds every fall typically from September till the last day in October. Its a family friendly way to get you in to the Halloween spirit. There are spooky trails, haunted houses, rides and of course you can see an animal or two :).

The admission is $17.00 for adults (12 and over) and $14.00 for Children (3-11). Which I think is ok for any type of entertainment.  The only down fall is that the park is only opened from 7pm till 11pm which I feel doesn't give you enough time to do everything the park has to offer. We got there right at 7:30 pm and stayed till the very end and there were things we just didn't have time to do. So if you plan to go next year make sure to be there right at 7pm.

The boys went through every haunted house like little troopers the 3-D Fright Theater was pretty cool they gave you 3-D glasses and you walked through a movie theater. They used neon colors and black lights to add to the effects, it was my favorite haunted house. Pretty Awesome!!! Then we went to the stingray exhibit followed by the petting zoo which was Carlos' favorite!! We saved the rides for last, we all went on the carousel and Christopher waited till 11:10 to ride the only roller coaster they had! And he love it! I am in trouble the boy loves roller coaster and i hate them :( I don't really hate them just its that it never fails I always get a headache!!)
Overall it was pretty cool and the boys had a great time!
